Adapt IT Heavy Industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Henry Fourie as Senior Research & Development Manager, effective 1 April 2026. 

Henry brings more than two decades of experience in software development, enterprise architecture and technology leadership, with a career spanning South Africa and the United Kingdom. He has held a range of senior technical roles, including Senior Developer, Architect and IT Manager, leading teams responsible for enterprise systems, software delivery and large-scale digital initiatives.  

In this role, Henry will lead research and development efforts across the Heavy Industries portfolio, with responsibility for shaping product development priorities and supporting the continued evolution of its technology platforms. His appointment reflects Adapt IT’s ongoing commitment to strengthening IntelliPERMIT’s technology foundations and advancing the next generation of solutions for industries operating in complex, high-risk environments.
